Please have a look and let me know if you have any suitable candidates Title: HIPAA Compliance and EDI Integration Specialist Location: Sacramento, CA (Remote) Visa: Any Except H1B Position can be worked remote, but must be local for onsite work on short notice as needed. Required Technical Skills and Experience Five (5) years of experience with various Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)methods, such as point -to-point EDI, EDI Network Services Provider, File Transfer Protocol over Virtual Private Network, Secure File Transfer Protocol and File Transfer Protocol Secure, etc. Three (3) years of experience interpreting HIPAA rules and regulations for implementation by a covered entity. Three (3) years of experience participating in HIPAA-based projects for Transactions, Code Sets, National Provider Identifier requirements, CAQHCORE Operating Rules, or similar practices/ standards compliance. Three (3) years of experience performing complex analysis on systems responsible for the exchange and generation of HIPAA required data structures and transactions. Three (3) years of experience working with program staff and managing relationships with program staff. Three (3) years of experience working within the health care industry. Accepted agile certification, such as Project Management Institute - Agile Certified Practitioner or Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master, or Certified Scrum Product Owner. Two (2) years of experience participating in a practice or standards development process led by a Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)recognized standards development organization, such as ASC X12. Three (3) years of participation in national HIPAA standards settings organizations, workgroups, and other HIPAA-related organizations. Two (2) years of experience with Medicaid programs. One (1) year of experience with State of California programs and organizations, or other similar government experience. More than three (3) years of experience interpreting HIPAA rules and regulations for implementation by a covered entity. More than three (3) years of experience performing complex analysis on systems responsible for the exchange and generation of HIPAA required data structures and transactions State of CA experience required.
