This individual will need to develop automated tests and applications in support of security initiatives and will be utilizing AWS services. This role will also have development opportunities. This role requires proficiency in AWS, CI/CD, Python, Java, and common testing frameworks. Essential Job Functions: Work with security developers and QA to fully understand and document the test cases for existing applications and infrastructure. Develop testing solutions using architectural diagrams, configurations, and integration activities as required for successful test coverage. Work within a team to design and develop, from the ground up, reliable, and scalable testing infrastructure to provide testing services using CI/CD automation. Develop projects from start to finish and advise others on best practices. Drive deployments, updates, and troubleshooting for systems deployed on AWS. Deliver fully automated, streamlined, testable, and scalable services in the AWS production environment. Learn and leverage cloud tools currently used by the enterprise. Proactively participate in continuous improvement activities. Develop custom scripts to automate tasks. Education/Experience Requirements: Hands on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including RDS, EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, and Cloudformation. Proficient in Cypress, Pytest, or other popular testing frameworks Proficient developing with Python and Java. Proficient critical thinker for existing and future systems. Hands on knowledge of Linux/Unix tools and architecture. Experience with version source control using Git. Knowledge of web, security, and networking protocols. AWS Certifications desired.
