They will be required to be on-site a minimum of 2/3 days per week. This team is onsite Wednesday and Thursday of each week. Qualifications / Credentials * From a technical perspective, the usual applies: - Advanced Java Engineer - JDK 1.8 or newer. - Core Java - Multithreading, Lambdas, Functional Interfaces, Streaming Data, JVM optimization, OAuth, etc. - Spring Boot - Microservices & APIs - Cloud Native Engineering (e.g. 12 Factor App; Netflix OSS) - Cloud/DevOps (PCF, AWS, GCP, Containerizaton) - CI/CD - Redis, Kafka, Oracle RDMS - Large, low-latency, high-transaction, highly distributed systems experience * Understands systems architecture. Will have experience in a broad array of architectures, ideally financial and/or payment systems. - Can look at how to deploy architectures and look at them from multiple angles/considerations (e.g. security, performance, scale, user experience, etc.) * There are 4+ layers of testing so they must have a Quality Engineering mindset: - Unit Testing - Contract testing - Etc * SRC wants: - Predictability, quality and pragmatism. Someone who is not a zealot and believes there is only one way to do something. - Individuals who look upon Constraints as opportunities to spur creativity, not anxiety. They are inspired by challenge and difficulty.
