Create accurate network design documentation Consult on alignment of best practices for a Palo Alto environment Document a mature decryption strategy Document governance Practices: FW Compliance and Reporting, Creating Firemon Dashboard(s), Process for remediating of actionable events Document recertification Processes: Defined procedures leading up to and post migration of firewall infrastructure. Ensuring best practices are being followed and Next Gen features are enabled. Complete a policy review/optimization exercise Develop automation through Ansible and/or SOAR Platforms Establish a baseline of current configuration. Review and evaluate current NGFW configuration settings and compare to industry benchmark best practices like CIS or STIG.
