Location 100% remote in the U.S.

Test Automation Engineer to join our Crop Care team in Jackson, Minnesota. In this role you will test new software features for our RoGator and TerraGator platforms aimed at helping agriculture operators do more with less. An ideal candidate will enjoy problem solving, collaboration between development and test, and an environment that always provides new challenges.

What youll do

Work in an Agile environment with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers and testers to understand new requirements then write test cases to support them.

Validate newly developed features and bugfixes, ensuring they meet requirements for customer satisfaction even if existing documentation is incomplete.

Create, maintain and execute automated test scripts and tools to streamline validation

Document testing results in a clear manner to improve software quality and expedite development process.

Work towards process improvements such as test scope expansion and cost reduction.

What youll need

Bachelors degree in engineering (Agricultural, Computer, Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent relevant experience

Experience with Python

Understanding of vehicle communication systems (CAN, Ethernet, LIN) and Vector tools (CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape)

History of working on diverse teams

Strong communication and documentation skill

What will help

Experience with agriculture machinery

Knowledge of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments such as dSpace and Speedgoat

Experience with Matlab and Simulink

Good understanding of mechatronic systems (actuators and sensors) as well as basic analog/digital circuits

Familiarity with electronic lab equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc)
