Position: Desktop Engineering QA Lead Location: 100% Remote Duration: 24+ Months Job Description: Lead experience and hands on experience both required Design test strategy from scratch for a Desktop Engineering group (Group is responsible for laptops, security, imaging, outlook, etc.) Need to build and lead end to end build of a QA strategy for this group Object Oriented Programming (OOP) in some language preferred, but not required Must be able to assess different tools and recommend AWS a plus Develop automation code, scripts, utilities, simulators, data generators, API/Interface testing solutions and other programmatic test tools as required to execute tests. Ownership of automation architecture (Both Functional and Performance). Experience in software development and/or test automation. Excellent understanding of testing process, test types and testing methodologies. Demonstrated understanding and experience with object oriented design. Demonstrated understanding of algorithms to test solutions. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Extensive experience with the Unix/Linux environment.
