As an Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. Your expertise in API testing will be crucial in validating the functionality, performance, and security of our APIs, enabling us to deliver exceptional software solutions to our clients. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Proven experience as an Automation Test Engineer with a focus on API testing. - Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript, to develop and maintain test automation scripts. - Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, or similar. - Familiarity with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber. - Knowledge of version control systems like Git for managing test scripts and test data. - Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and experience working in a collaborative development environment. - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a keen attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Prior experience in testing microservices architecture and cloud-based APIs is a plus.
