Project Scope and Brief Description: SPD Platform Team working on a new seed management application Responsibilities: Work at a high-level on a small agile team as a senior software developer to develop a high performance application. Work closely with the teams architect and developers to understand the project goals, business requirements and process workflows. Engage with and participate in team application design and agile meetings Develop, test, and deploy application(s) to the Azure cloud platform Help provide accurate scoping and estimation of development efforts for projects based on product requirements Help ensure that projects are developed in accordance to FS&Ds Software Engineering architectural standards Follow software engineerings coding practices and standards Skills / Experience: Education and experience: BS or higher computer science/software engineering or related discipline 4+ years of experience in developing software applications in a scrum setting using Microsoft .NET and Azure frameworks and cloud technologies Skills: Experience using established engineering methodologies through all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) Knowledge of common coding languages, frameworks, and cloud technologies.
