[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Title: PeopleSoft Senior Financials Technical Developer End Client: Location: 100% Remote No H1B/CPT 8+ years experienced 24 months contract Twenty-four (24) months of experience in the higher education industry and/or public sector. Project Description: CUNY has a requirement to manage/support the integrations and process enhancements within Procurement, Cash Management and AR/Bl areas to ensure precision in transactions and achieve greater efficiency and accuracy. In order to expeditiously deliver these priorities, CIS needs to supplement its small Application Development team with a consulting resource possessing skillset in PeopleSoft Financials. Day to day tasks to be performed by the Consultant: 1. Using PeopleTools (8.58 and higher), identifies and implements and maintains custom applications based on analysis of user/owner needs; analyzes, identifies and implements and implements requested upgrades, enhancements, and changes to PeopleSoft Financials 2. Participates in business process analysis, systems analysis, systems design, development, testing, deployment, and support; performs (full life cycle) software development 3. Work on all project phases - particularly Project Initiation, but also Fit/Gap Analysis, Setup, Development and Testing 4. Create and execute unit and system integration tests to validate new or changed code; document errors and resolves defects 5. Using standard PeopleSoft development tools and other software as needed (e.g., Application Designer, Application Engine, SQR, Application Messaging, Component Interfaces, PeopleSoft, Bl Publisher), identify, implement and maintain custom application based on analysis of user/owner needs 6. Create documentation needed to support new development. 7. Integrate with Oracle Identity Management System using People Integration Broker 8. Share knowledge to continually improve implementation methodology 9. Support technical aspects of code deployment to production environments Typical Software Used for Engagement MS Platform including Outlook, Teams, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word and Tumbleweed and Oracle Products Typical Hardware Used for Engagement Data Center on VMs and Oracle RAC Position Mandatory Qualifications 1. Ninety-six (96) months of PeopleSoft Financials Technical developer experience in a complex installation. 2. Ninety- six (96) months of experience with relevant technologies; for example, Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleTools (8.58. preferred on recent projects) PeopleCode, PeopleSoft Integration Broker, SQR, Change Assistant, Data Mover, Component Interface, and Process Scheduler. 3. Forty-eight (48) months of experience integrating with a diverse set of third-party systems used at CUNY. Must include experience with integrations mentioned in the job description. (Such as Jaggaer, Oracle Marketplace). 4. Ninety-six (96) months of experience working with all project phases (Initiation, fit/gap, configuration, development, and testing), with an emphasis on project initiation. 5. Twenty-four (24) months of experience in the higher education industry and/or public sector. 6. Ninety-six (96) months of experience with writing documentation, including the ability to translate complex technical issues into understandable reports, updates, and proposals for solutions. 7. Eight-four (84) months of experience within a multi- institutional PeopleSoft environment.
