Please share resumes with Required Skills Job Description: Job Title- Accessibility Test Engineer Location: Pleasanton, CA Hybrid Duration: Long Term Contract Job Summary/Responsibilities /Required Skills Candidates must have an EXCELLENT understanding of ACCESSIBILITY TESTING!!! Good understanding of Agile working modal and JIRA. Adept at defining detailed Accessibility Test plan, Test scenarios and test conditions. Hands on experience in executing web accessibility test scenarios and test conditions. Experience in Section 508 and tools expertise in NVDA, Voice Over and TalkBack. Conduct comprehensive accessibility Testing on various forms of electronic communications. Experience in performing visual accessibility analysis on wireframes to identify violations. Has worked in an accessibility position where WCAG 2.1 Standards were practiced; section 508 standards are also acceptable. Knowledge of mobile accessibility on both Android and iOS devices Synergize with accessibility team, interaction designers, developers and multi-media specialists to further improve information architecture, site navigation, labels, and other design elements to improve accessibility. Core Skills: Accessibility Testing, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack, JIRA, aXe, WAT, WAVE, CCA. WAS/CCPA certified What are the top 3 Must Haves for this role 1.Accessibility Testing /ADA / WCAG 2.0/2.1 2.NVDA, JAWS and CCA 3.Defect Reporting and Retesting Preferred Skills Extensive knowledge and experience with web technologies (HTML/CSS, and Web content management systems). Good command on working with assistive technologies (JAWS, Voice Over, TalkBack, NVDA). Secondary Skills: Automated scanning tools Extensive knowledge and experience with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and guidelines. Knowledge on disability laws and acts ( Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act ) Knowledge and experience with Windows, iOS and Android. Knowledge of the following web development technologies: o HTML/CSS o Java script Experience and knowledge of the following web guidelines and standards: W3C Web Content Accessibility 2.x Guidelines o Federal Section 508 Information Technology Accessibility Standards. o W3C Accessible Rich Internet Accessibility Specification o HTML5 Specification Knowledge and comfort with Apples Accessibility tools Familiarity with free and paid tools in the market for accessibility evaluations and improvements. Experience testing mobile applications including iOS and Android. Must have a working knowledge of SQA methodologies and practices. Proven bug detection and regression skills. Working closely with a large team of testers & developers.
