Please call me back at 571-360-5388 Ext. 333 Title : Business Analyst Duration : 12+ Months Location : Tallahassee, FL(Onsite Role) JOB DESCRIPTION : Linkedin required Description Minimum Qualifications of Candidate The Department is seeking five (5) Business Analysts - Advanced for the School Safety and Threat Assessment Portal Project with the following minimum qualifications (these qualifications must be clearly stated on the resume and verifiable via reference checks): Experience scheduling technical integrations involving multiple resource teams. Experience organizing and facilitating training and/or technical presentations. Experience facilitating business and technical analysis, design, and planning meetings. 5+ Experience producing technical documentation related to requirements, specifications, design, process and data flow, testing, and training. 5+ Years of experience with data consolidation, editing, and normalizing rules. Understanding of State of Florida rules and regulations Proficiency with Microsoft Word Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Proficiency with Microsoft Project Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint Technical knowledge of web, network infrastructure, network communication, and security preferred. Deliverables/Tasks The Business Analyst key deliverables include, but are not limited to the following: Assists in developing specifications as well as overall planning and management of projects. Meets with leadership to provide status reports on a weekly basis and provides monthly written reports which will include accomplishments, areas of concern, and recommended solutions. Communicate project progress and information to team, sponsor, stakeholders, and legislative body as appropriate. Ensures technical direction and standards are being followed. Develops project plans and measures actual progress against the plans. Assures that project documentation includes the project plans, budget, risk plans, communication plans, change controls logs and reports. Demonstrates and understanding of tactical goals and effectively participates in the development and implementation of business solutions. Manages project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning techniques. Manages change control within the projects. Obtains sponsor approval for changes to scope, budget, and schedule that effect the critical path. Written documentation showing testing and verification of modifications to ensure that objectives are met.
