Job Title: Mainframe Tester Location: Tampa FL only local or nearby location Client: Mphasis Qualifications: College degree, preferably in information systems or compute science Minimum of seven years of relevant development life cycle experience in systems and application management including systems/application design 3-5 years of QA experience, preferably in a financial services environment Basic understanding of US Liquidity business Strong teamwork skills Experienced in COBOL/Mainframe technology QA Analyst is responsible for: Working in conjunction with the Business Analysis and Development teams to ensure that applications meet requirements and are of high quality. Reviewing Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, and Test Cases to Understand the functional and technical requirements in order to test the application and verify those requirements are successfully met Executing test scripts and document defects for test scripts where the actual results do not successfully meet expected results.
