JD Job Title Solutions Architect (Information Technologies) (in Yrs) 5+ years Technical/Functional Skills Information Technologies Systems & Solutions Architect Experience Required Minimum 5-8 years experience as Software Architect (Enterprise Systems & Applications), additional experience with software application and developer skills with Agile and Scrum methods, along with traditional software development engineering and methods. Data & Business systems concepts applied to applications architecture design and engineering. Creating software architecture models, researching and recommending technology strategies for IT systems, data management, applications implementation (commercial off-the-shelf and custom or tailored solutions) Knowledgeable in Agile methods and with modern architecture framework development and practices. Provide guidance to software engineers, business analysts, customer stakeholders & management. User interface, application demonstrations, modeling, data content handling, quality records and database integration Agile methodologies knowledge along with traditional software application development, lean methods. Medical device industry domain knowledge, including QMS, and Regulatory domain knowledge and experience is highly recommended. Knowledge in software development, engineering, application engineering, technical & project management experience. Engage and work constructively with business and all stakeholders within lean, matrix, high-growth client /customer and suppliers organizations both internally, and externally. Roles & Responsibilities Responsible for providing and concepting application solutions potentially involving multiple medium size projects by closely working with all stakeholders, project and technical leads, client /customer management. Ability to work constructively to convey software and applications solutions, use and functions to diverse client/customer and other team members. Define, scope, and provide technical management to implement business solutions to meet client /customer needs & requirements. Coordinate applications demonstrations or lead solutions modeling including data & content handling. Ensure coordination and management of solutions applications use and development to achieve client /customer needs of implemented solutions. Generic Managerial Skills Able to coordinate and lead activities with multi-functional personnel at customer side and in different regions to achieve the desired outcomes. Project and technical management Must be a team player and results oriented. Strong capability to oversee and manage projects, track progress, follow up on actions and hold individual accountable. Communications Good communication skills in both speaking and writing with all levels within the organization. Must be able to communicate well with off-shore teams and personnel. Organized - Ability to provide technical guidance and explain complicated functions to widely diverse audiences. Identify high priority and convey project and technical risks and challenges to facilitate realistic system solutions meeting customer needs. Education Minimum: Bachelors degree in Computer Sciences, or applicable engineering disciplines. Masters or other advanced technical degree is preferred. Minimum 5 years relevant working experience as solutions architect or applications architect, and software applications, preferably within or related to Medical Device products and systems. Proficient in software such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc. Good English communication skills both in speaking and writing.
