Java Developer with SACWIS or similar Child Welfare system exp Location: Columbus, OH (Remote) Responsibilities: Act as a lead developer for the Ohio SACWIS Java application Gain a deep Understanding of the applications to provide strong development and design for best business outcome Participate in requirements and design sessions Develop Java Code according to approved requirements and technical design Support Java applications and develop new Java applications based on desired requirement specifications Interact with prospective customers during product demos/evaluations Research and fix code issues in the mobile and application segments Enhance efficiency of development, test and release process; develop tools, frameworks Participate in the full lifecycle development process Ability to work in both agile and waterfall projects Provide first level of quality assurance on new code functionality Consults with clients to define requirements and recommend solutions Generate, identify and qualify methods of incorporating technology with the standard industry practices Study technical trends and how to affect these acquired information with the purpose of upgrading the systems Serve as an advisor on industry alternatives, options, perils, and provide data on the advantages against the disadvantages of the same on the business processes and procedures Provides support for ongoing and recurring IT security audits of system Consults with program/project management to develop appropriate technical solutions Advise on options, risks, costs vs. benefits, impact on other business processes and system priorities. Required Experience: 7+ years experience in designing and developing scalable web-based applications or relevant industry experience required 7+ years Hands-on programming and debugging skills on Java, JavaScript, JSP/Servlet, J2EE design patterns Hands-on programming skills with PL/SQL Service Integration Concepts (especially with RESTFUL services/ SOAP based web services/ IIB integration) Experience using Git to manage code Experience with Maven Experience using JIRA Design and develop solutions for Non-Functional Requirements (Performance analysis & tuning, Benchmarking/load testing, Security) 5+ years Oracle experience in database design, creating stored procedures and performance tuned sql for quality execution Knowledge of XML, XHTML, prevalent XML parsers and related technologies Good knowledge of JSON, XPath Strong Communication Skills Leadership skills, some experience managing others 5+ years experience in Ohio SACWIS or similar Child Welfare system preferably in the Financial area 2 years of experience in IT with consulting experience preferred Preferred skills: Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline Understanding of standard protocols such as HTTP/HTTPS and session management concepts Experience in handling enterprise application deployment architectures, environments and providing solutions to problems in scalability, performance, availability, reliability, security etc. Working experience with one or more Java EE servers such as WebSphere and WebLogic application server, JBOSS or Tomcat Good SQL knowledge and experience with at least one of the leading Databases like Oracle, SQL Server Project Delivery: Estimation, Co-ordination and Client Communication Reviews Research & Innovation: Proof of concepts Thanks and Regards Santosh Yambari Keywords: access management information technology golang procedural language Colorado Ohio http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=582387&uid= |
