[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Title : Integration Engineer (Kafka/IBM MQ) End Client: Location: Remote (MST/PST) Duration : 6 month contract-to-hire Visa: No visa restrictions except H1B An employer is looking for an Integration Engineer to join their Cloud Infrastructure Services team. In this role, you will build integration supporting data exchange between applications using messaging, ETL or managed file transfers. You will also design solutions for Project Teams using integration technologies and update the team on new product features. You will co-author integration road maps with Enterprise Architects and complete the documentation for the integration project. This company is in the middle of a migration into Microsoft Azure so any cloud administration experience is extremely helpful. Qualifications: 4+ years of Integration Engineering experience, specifically with messaging platforms (Kafka AND IBM MQ/IIB required) Must have professional experience as an administrator responsible for design, implementation, installation, configuration, and 3rd level support of Integration products Cloud administration experience, preferably with Microsoft Azure. Experience with Confluent Kafka Connect (JMS, JDBC), Confluent Control Center, Confluent Replicator or MirrorMaker, Confluent Kafka security (Kerberos, ACL, SSL, SASL). Confluent KSQL and schema registry Knowledge of monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana or Datadog) Scripting in Shell, Perl, AWK or Python is expected.
