Job Description: VA is making a technology pivot and is seeking assistance from a highly seasoned leader with Network Monitoring skills (ScienceLogic), advanced hands-on scripting and software development experience. CCNP (CCIE level preferred) with at least 10 years of related network monitoring system experience that is a proven leader with polished consultative and communications skills that has a track record for building trusted advisor relationships with clients. Qualified candidates must also work well with others, be highly dependable, strong, dedicated work ethic, self-directed, but collaborative. Candidates with these skills who are also Veterans or have close family relatives as Veterans that understand and care about the mission for the Dept of Veterans Affairs to improve the veterans experience and their level of support are desirable. SME level Network Monitoring System expertise particularly with ScienceLogic is required. Experience with architectural design of and building dashboards and onboarding devices. Storepoint software development and programming Solid understanding of APIs/Rest APIs Cisco and/or Juniper LAN/WAN background is a plus.
