Why Open: backfilling a current contractor on team who has no automation/api experience. they tried to train him up, but it is taking too long. looking to bring on a new C with API testing and Selenium web driver exp. Need both. Job Description:- Important Skills Technical validation, regression testing, automation, selenium web driver, API Soft good comms Interview Process : 2 rounds: 1st round 30 min webex with davis, the hiring manager/director of team. 2nd round will be 1 hr technical panel with automation lead, and 1-2 QA's Preset Interview Times ready to IV week of 9/4 Interview Debrief Date/Time Background Check + Drug Test (if applicable): Background check is required. What the environment / Sell: Telemetry recently moved QA in house. Previously would export all QA to another team. Large opportunity for growth. Great manager, very hands on and is in the weeds with his team. encourages his QA folks to have a voice and stand their ground when they ID defects. This person will be the only one working on a specific mission critical application for telemetry, high visibility application that is super important, so lots of responsibility. Hours / Shift (if applicable): hybrid, 3/2 Notes: dress code is business casual. MMDD of DOB is needed for submittal. Must Haves: - automation with selenium web driver - QA mindset - how fast can they find defects - API testing with Postman or SoapUI - validation experience Plus: -ALM Octane/Jira Day to Day: Team that does QA is an agile team. First few weeks will be working with the previous contractor (will be one month of overlap) to help with understanding charter environment and Scope. Once they grasp charter, they will be apart of daily standups in their squad, looking at stories in agile group, picking up the story, testing in dev environment, logging defects with ALM Octane, test case design/prep. All questions regarding dev go directly to developers. configuring test cases. D2D: 1. QA to validate (UI/API/DB's/etc) 2. Regression testing 3. Automating test cases with Robin Jackson's team.
