Local is the preference.......... ****please provide work samples 1 year open ended contract Location: New York, NY, United States great comms, passion for what they do, interviews well, has a portfolio to share, super polished types!! Worked for large enterprise companies, NO SMALL SHOP PEOPLE Ideal candidate will have worked on Tokenization, Encryption, Signatures, etc. using JS / TypeScript No "Script Kiddies", "Web Vikings" or "Digital Ninjas". This is a true Web/TypeScript/JS Engineer as opposed to a mere "web developer". Description: Need a Senior Front End Engineer for Client in NYC. They will be interviewed - twice - and it will be difficult. Client takes no prisoners. Ideally based in Greater NYC so they can visit the office 2X per week. However, this particular hiring manager will be fine with someone being remote and grant an exception - if they are good enough. Expertise-wise, it needs to be someone with the following: Senior level JavaScript engineering expertise - less focused on Pixel-Perfect development (although an understanding of UX principles and standards is important) and more geared towards "code in/under the browser" Expert in ECMA6 / ECMA7 and very low level / "close to the metal equivalent" TypeScript. For example: Promises Scoping Literals Map/Set, WeakMap, WeakSet Arrow Functions Typed Arrays Classes Destructuring Expert in CSS & Preprocessors such as LESS, Stylus, etc. Possess a solid understanding of one or more component-based frameworks and their ecosystems (e.g., Vue - ideally - or React). Have an appreciation for the complexities associated with writing JavaScript SDKs, libraries and third-party integration code. The JS that this Engineer will write will talk directly to Java-based Microservices & RESTful Services Will have gained expertise in enterprise-class shops engineering solutions that function at scale. The bigger and cloudier, the better. Possesses a Quality Engineering mindset & gladly writes Unit Tests (using tools such as Mocha, Karma, Protractor, Cucumber, Jasmine, etc.) with a smile on their face Regards, Sam Young, Manager-Sales, (Best way to reach me is Email.) :[email protected] Keywords: user experience javascript information technology New York http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=593440&uid= |
