Job Description

- The Identity & Access Management team is responsible for:

  - Giving users within an organization an identity and protecting it.

  - Securing critical applications, data, and systems from unauthorized access.

  - Managing identities and access rights for both internal and external individuals.

- Identity & Access Management involves:

  - Protecting data assets.

  - Implementing processes, tools, and standards for intelligent business operations.

- The team is heavily involved in the Audit & Regulatory Compliance area.

- The IAM Administrator II's responsibilities include:

  - Access management for state applications, systems, and resources.

  - Ensuring compliance.

  - Research and analysis for possible duplicate accounts.

  - Performing tasks within the IAM Identity Manager system.

  - Supporting the development team with account-related ticket backlog.

- The IAM Administrator's role is to manage identity and access across state systems by:

  - Providing appropriate access to the right individuals at the right time.

- Responsibilities also encompass:

  - Ensuring compliance with internal policies and security standards.

  - Meeting regulatory requirements related to identity management.
