Chattanooga, TN or Atlanta, GA (Day-1 Onsite) ognizent Job Description: Responsibilities: -- Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Quality Engineers to deliver exceptional testing services. Set clear goals, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative and innovative work environment. -- Test Strategy and Planning. -- Test Execution and Reporting: Oversee the execution of various testing types, including functional manual and automation. -- In the future likely to include performance, security, and usability testing. Monitor testing progress and promptly address any issues that may impact project delivery. -- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges in the testing process and develop mitigation plans. Communicate risks to stakeholders and lead risk assessment discussions. -- Collaboration and Communication: Establish strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including software development, product management, and hardware engineering. Communicate testing progress, results, and challenges effectively to stakeholders. -- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the QA team. Seek opportunities to enhance testing methodologies, processes, and tools to achieve higher quality and efficiency. -- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that all testing activities adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and internal quality procedures. Maintain thorough documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
