[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Position: Greenplum DBA Location: Remote Mode of Hire: Contract Job Description: 5+ years of experience with the following skillsets: This is a Postgres/ role backup/restore, and maintenance of Postgres/Greenplum databases Proven deep understanding of Greenplum technology, knowledge of Linux as Greenplum runs on Linux, and general operational expertise such as good troubleshooting skills, understanding of systems capacity, and networks, etc Requires high level of technical expertise related to studying and analyzing IT system requirements for data base structures Experience with Postgres DBA role Roles and Responsibilities Upgrade current version of Greenplum in DEV/UAT/PROD clusters Help development teams in tuning the jobs for better performance Migrate the data and applications from Fidelis Care DCA V3s to WellCare GBBs Involve in patch the servers/application to fix the vulnerabilities Work with IAM team in standardizing the roles and permissions for users to the databases Implement backup strategy for all the PROD databases to Data Domain Incident support, response and resolution Work with RM team to implement Greenplum deployments Implement resource groups in the clusters to avoid job failures and smooth run Support Development teams during their job failures on daily basis Thanks, Guna VDart Inc.
