1. Development

2. Unit Testing

What are the main 3-5 technologies this resource should be proficient in

1. very strong experience on SSIS

2. Strong T-SQL experience on MS SQL Server to write stored procedure, ETL Packages

3. Experience in performance tuning

4. Some knowledge of C#, .NET

What are the TOP 5 Critical Skills or Must Haves skills a candidate should have on their resume in order to be considered

1. Strong Development experience on Healthcare

2. Good team player

3. Communication skills

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Develop complex data extracts, stored procedures, and ad-hoc queries and ensuring data consistence and accuracy using SQL, SSIS.

Ensure that code is tested, optimized, and compliant with industry best practices.

Research, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues impacting extract delivery.

Work closely with Business Systems Analysts to understand requirements regarding solutions, ensure data quality and match-back to core systems transaction results.

Collaborate on the definition, development, and maintenance of standards and processes.

Serve as mentoring resource for other developers.

Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team.

Support DentaQuest goals and objectives by working closely with management team to deliver value to the business.

Other duties as needed or required.

Required:

BS degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience).

9+ years as a Developer, Data Analyst, or equivalent implementing technical solutions (extracts, middleware, stored procedures, ETL packages).

Strong health care experience specially on insurance domain is preferred.

Experience with SQL Server, Transact SQL and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

Good experience on query optimization and able to analyze the SQL plans.

Knowledge of C# and REST API is plus.

Expert knowledge of relational database applications and data query protocols (MS Access, SQL Server, Structured Query Language, SQL Reporting Services).

Demonstrated ability to drive to deadlines, balancing multiple priorities, and ensuring quality standards.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills.
