If you are interested, kindly send me your updated resume, contact details and a convenient time to talk to you Role : Java Microservices Lead Location: SFO Day 1 Onsite Hybrid Model Duration : Long term We are looking for a lead engineer for our engineering team supporting the Consumer Data Hub (CDH) team. This team is responsible for building data ingestion/platform from multiple systems and building microservice applications supporting multiple functions to create a seamless shopping across Website/mobile app, Omnichannel experience for our customers globally. These data and services enable digital advertising, personalization across shopping channels, machine learning applications, analytics and many more. As part of this role, you will be working closely with a variety of teams in the San Francisco and Canada, India location including other engineering team members, architects, product managers etc. Successful candidates will have shown the ability to ship quality product in a fast-paced agile environment. You will need to collaborate and lead offshore members. Minimum qualification Bachelors Degree: Computer science or similar with 7+ years of experience or Masters in Computer science and similar with 5+ years of experience. Strong experience with Web Development, REST and Service-Oriented Architecture. Hands-on experience developing complex systems involded data ingestion and data processing, ETL etc. You must have experience with SOA designs, Middleware solutions, big data ecosystem and distributed systems. Hands-on coding experience in Java, Python, AWS Technologies. Experience with architecting and building serverless and container-based components. Strong experience with building RESTful services. Expertise at defining architecture for microservices based applications. Strong experience with Relational and NoSQL database technologies like MySQL, MongoDB and Redis. Understanding of real-time and batch data processing systems. Working knowledge of Cloud technologies (AWS preferred) - especially deployment and maintenance of services and components. Experience building Kafka or Kinesis data streams for real-time data stream analysis. Hands on technical leadership experience and willing to lead and collaborate with offshore team in an innovative and fast-paced environment. Take ownership for the technical quality deliverables, support production releases and help production support team as needed. Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and work on the same to meet business requirements. Understanding of best design practices to meet security and compliance standards for threats and vulnerabilities. Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments. Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills. Passion for the meeting the standards of data privacy by design. Good-to-have qualification Cloud certification for AWS, GCP or Azure. Experience working with Data scientists and understanding of Data science models. Familiarity with big data technologies like Snowflake, Redshift, Hadoop, Elastic Search etc. Experience with UI/UX technologies like NodeJS, Angular, VueJS, ExtJS and React.
