Ideally, they want the project finished by December 31st, but can extend if needed Our organization has recently transitioned to SharePoint for records management, moving away from a previous application. We are seeking a SharePoint Developer to assist in implementing the records management process available in Office 365 into SharePoint. Create record labeling types within the system. Synchronize the corporate classification system. Apply label types to department-specific folders (e.g., HR, accounting). Identify and categorize records associated with each department. Implement department-specific labeling. Collaborate with departmental managers to establish end-of-life record management rules and procedures. **Why the Position is Open:** The position is open due to the departure of the previous Records Manager, who advanced in their career while in the midst of setting up the records management process. **Reporting Structure:** The SharePoint Developer will report to Andre White, VP of IT Services, and Marjorie Gannett, General Counsel. **Experience Level:** We are looking for a candidate with a mid-level experience level who is knowledgeable about records management processes. **Top 3 Skills:** 1. **Strong Communication and Soft Skills:** The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, as they will interact with various stakeholders, including the CFO and General Counsel. Strong presentation capabilities are essential. Self-starter and somebody who doesnt need a lot of hand-holding. Also want somebody who takes charge of their work and keeps the team up to date with what they are working on, goals for the day/week, and what they have accomplished and will report this to Andre. 2. **SharePoint Expertise:** Proficiency in SharePoint is a must, including creating record labeling types, corporate classification system synchronization, and label application to department-specific folders. 3. **Corporate Environment Understanding:** Experience with corporate systems and technology projects in a corporate setting, especially those with tight deadlines. Document processing skills and the ability to handle massive communication are crucial. **Education Requirements:** An Associate's to Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with experience in multiple presentation types. **Work Hours:** Core working hours are 9 AM to 4 PM or 5 PM with flexibility. **Work Arrangement:** This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for remote work with the option to come into the office as needed. **Parking:** Company covers parking expenses.
