This work is remote. See details below. We can do C2C as well Responsibilities: Translate complex mathematical, business, and financial modeling concepts into software code, design and execute test cases for analytical software applications, and implement distributed computing solutions. Write deployment scripts, focusing on automated deployment, infrastructure automation solutions, and continuous delivery process. Collaborate with stakeholders to determine new features for large development projects, create/update documentation, participate in code reviews, and respond to troubleshooting. Serve as a technical lead, working in an Agile environment. REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: 8+ years of direct experience and proficiency in programming in Java / J2EE and Python. Must have experience in full lifecycle of software development for production applications. Demonstrated experience developing, deploying, and debugging in AWS cloud environment and prior experience migrating software application from on-prem to AWS environments. Expert knowledge of Linux / UNIX environment and shell scripting. Hands on experience with building RESTful Web Services and JSON. Hands on experience with the following AWS services: S3, Lambda, ECR, DCS, DynamoDB, SNS, and SQS. Experience with web application frameworks for creating interactive data visualizations and dashboards. Has worked in an Agile environment, understands the practices and methodologies. Experience with financial or scientific modeling software applications. This is a remote position and requires the ability to work in a home office environment with the ability to work effectively surrounded by moderate home environment noise.
