Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patches to ensure optimal performance and security of the storage environment. Collaborate with other IT teams to understand and address storage requirements for various applications, databases, and systems. Design and implement storage solutions to accommodate data growth & optimize storage utilization. Troubleshoot & resolve storage-related issues, working with vendors & technical support as needed. Implement and enforce data storage policies, including backup, retention, and disaster recovery strategies. Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning to proactively address storage bottlenecks and scalability concerns. Monitor storage trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements to the storage infrastructure. Document storage configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and reference. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and incident response.
