Job Description: Lead Data Engineer 6 Months CTH Boston, MA - Onsite LOCAL TO MA As for requirements, they need STRONG Azure Data Factory experience and had to have been using it for at least 2 years. They need minimum of 5 years experience as a Lead Data Engineer. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred 5+ years experience with data modeling and working on Business Intelligence projects (power BI/SSRS) 2+ years experience leveraging Azure a must 3+ years experience with relational modeling and data warehousing developing web-based solutions 2+ years experience with data file formats (Apache Parquet, Avro) Experience defining a global data catalog for end user reference Working knowledge of sophisticated data transformation tools (windowing functions in Transact-SQL) Working knowledge of CI/CD patterns, methodologies Understanding of fundamentals of developing an e-commerce site nice to have Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross functional partners to support all production system Design and develop direct-to-consumer application platform Develop software code and modifications using appropriate languages and tools Actively participate in agile ceremonies such as daily stand up, refinement, iteration planning Create appropriate documents to help drive requirements and solutions Apply knowledge of current industry trends and techniques to formulate solutions within the context of assigned projects.
