Hands-on experience in troubleshooting data issues arising out of the ELT/ETL process. Strong and hands-on PL/SQL skillset. Proficient with ETL/ELT tools such as Microsoft SSIS/Oracle ODI. Development experience in Oracle Apex. Strong understanding of ETL concepts and data integration best practices. Experience with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling. Proven experience as an SSIS developer/ODI Developer or in a similar ETL-focused role. Knowledge of database systems, data modeling, and data architecture. Familiarity with performance optimization techniques for ETL processes. Skill in identifying and resolving issues related to data quality, data integrity, and ETL/ELT performance. Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and rectify errors in ETL processes. Experience working within project timelines and meeting deliverables. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Creative problem-solving skills to address complex data integration challenges. Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) for database management. Oracle SQL Developer for Oracle database. Familiar with ODI (11g/12c). Knowledge of source control systems like Git for version control. Responsibilities: Design and develop SQL Server/Oracle stored procedures, functions, views and triggers to be used during the ELT/ETL process. Builds data transformations with SSIS including importing data from files, moving data from one database platform to another. Design, implement and maintain database objects (tables, views, indexes) and database security. Analyze and develop strategies and approaches to import and transfer data between source, staging, and ODS/Data Warehouse destinations. Support System and Acceptance Testing including the development or refinement of test plans. Code, test, and document BI dashboards/reports and apply best practice through the development lifecycle.
