This role involves 30 hours per week focused on system administration and 10 hours per week on network administration. The ideal candidate will possess a strong skill set in VMWare, Windows Servers, Azure, and Cisco technologies. Responsibilities System Administration (30 hours/week) Manage and support approximately 84 servers, with a focus on Windows-based machines (80 servers) and Linux-based machines (4 servers). Utilize VMWare for hypervisor operations. Maintain servers located on-premises at our headquarters. Note: A migration to Azure is currently under discussion. Conduct day-to-day maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure an optimal working environment. Provide recommendations for optimizing the system environment and planning for future requirements. Network Administration (10 hours/week) Conduct routine network monitoring and troubleshooting. Maintain and optimize the network environment. Offer suggestions for improving the network infrastructure, focusing on long-term operational excellence. Qualifications Proven competencies in VMWare, Windows Servers, and Azure. Experience with Cisco network technologies. Ability to maintain and troubleshoot both Windows and Linux servers. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
