Job Summary: The Sec Ops Governance Lead will be responsible for overseeing the security operations governance program within the organization. They will work closely with the security operations team to ensure that security policies, standards, and procedures are adhered to and that security risks are effectively managed. The role requires a deep understanding of security operations and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement security operations governance policies, standards, and procedures that meet industry best practices and regulatory requirements Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the security operations governance program Provide guidance and support to the security operations team on security governance matters Collaborate with other teams to ensure that security risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated appropriately Conduct regular assessments of security operations governance to identify areas for improvement Lead the development and execution of security awareness and training programs for the organization Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and trends in security operations governance and recommend changes to policies and procedures as needed Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field Minimum of 7 years of experience in security operations governance or related areas Experience developing and implementing security policies, standards, and procedures Strong understanding of security operations, including threat management, incident response, and vulnerability management Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and SOC 2 Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are preferred Keywords: Texas http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=625377&uid= |
