This is a 12-month contract opportunity. This role offers full remote work flexibility and an opportunity to lead a critical upgrade from version 12.2.1.4 to 12.2.1.19. As part of this project, you will also be responsible for creating a new development environment, either on-premises in a Linux environment or on the Oracle Cloud (OCI). Key Responsibilities: Establish a new development server, choosing between Linux or Oracle Cloud (OCI), to support the upgrade project. Install and configure Oracle Forms software on the designated development environment. Create and set up three development PCs to facilitate the upgrade process efficiently. Execute the upgrade of Oracle Forms, transitioning two Oracle Forms applications to the targeted version (12.2.1.19). Review and update source code as necessary during the upgrade process to ensure compatibility with the new version. Requirements: Proven expertise in Oracle Forms, with a strong track record of performing upgrades. In-depth knowledge of Oracle Forms software installation and configuration. Proficiency in creating and managing development environments. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to update source code for compatibility.
