Please check the below job description and let me know if you have any suitable candidate for the same: Job Description - Local Prefered Title : AWS Cloud developer Location: Atlanta, GA, Hybrid Duration: 6+ months MOI: Skype Exp: 8+ years of experience with certifications I am looking to fill a need on my team as soon as possible for an AWS Cloud developer for the Data Analytics team in InfoSec at BlackRock. We are a team of platform and data engineers who are responsible for building and maintaining InfoSecs data lake, warehousing and reporting processes. We have recently migrated from an on premises Hadoop infrastructure to a native AWS data lake and we need to augment our expertise in the AWS application development space Looking for someone who can use terraform to build new applications for our data engineers and analysts to use, including RDS, Sage Maker and Red Shift. As well as to help us integrate the new infrastructure into our CI/CD pipeline. Team of mostly data engineers who extended themselves and rebuilt onprem data tech stack in AWS over last year Looking to grow in that area, fill in the gap in developing applications in the cloud Experience building environments in the cloud, dont necessarily have to have data experience or experience working with a data team, just so long as they have exp. building in AWS; specifically building infrastructure as code using terraform Doing that in an org that might be similar to BlackRock; e.g. Highly regulated environment would be ideal; someone would have experience deploying cloud applications in a regulated environment; compliance experience basically Time constraint, need to onboard by mid October; hard to spend money between then and February Building data engineering platform and then have data engineers that operate on top of that; this person would essentially be taking requirements from Chris and Data Engineers to transform that into the AWS platform they operate on Small and agile team; good for someone who wants to move fast like that Need to practice good SDLC practices because they are highly regulated Dont need someone who has experience deploying data tools in AWS, so long as they have experience with things like VPC, Lambda and in general developing these sorts of tools, working with AWS IAM roles, that's what's important Anyone that can do that can deploy a RedShift environment in AWS and from there, they can provide the expertise to operate the tools, just need someone to develop them in AWS for them Bonus if they have all this experience and have also deployed RedShift or Amazon RDS environments If they've done work in EC2, Lambda, VPC, IAM then hes sure they have the skills to do this job Not an entry level role, I'd say we're looking more mid-senior level ========================================================================================================= Bottom Line / In a Nut: Must have strong AWS Development experience; experience building in AWS, specifically building infrastructure as code using terraform Preferably someone who has experience deploying cloud applications in a highly regulated environment Looking for someone who can use terraform to build new applications for data engineers and analysts to use, including RDS, Sage Maker and Red Shift Someone who can help integrate the new infrastructure into their CI/CD pipeline Bonus if you have all this experience and have also deployed RedShift or Amazon RDS environments Job Description: Deploy, automate, maintain, and manage an AWS production data lake system Understand the current application infrastructure and suggest changes to it. Contribute to the Data Cloud development effort focusing on scalability, quality and performance for production data lake in AWS Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance. Implement the applications CI/CD pipeline using the team CI/CD stack.
