Position: 100% Remote Epicor Data Specialist Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6+ months Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Epicor KBMax and OData Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing and maintaining our company's use of the Epicor ERP system, with a specific focus on the KBMax configurator and OData integration. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Epicor's KBMax module, OData protocols , and have hands-on experience in configuring, customizing, and integrating these components within an ERP environment. Key Responsibilities: Epicor KBMax Configuration and Customization: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement tailored customizations within the KBMax configurator to address specific business needs. Configure various elements, including product catalogs, rules, pricing structures, workflows, and other pertinent components within the KBMax module. Develop and continuously update precise product configuration models and rules to cater to diverse product lines. OData Integration and API Management: Design, create, and maintain robust OData integrations connecting our Epicor ERP system to external applications. Identify and resolve integration-related challenges, ensuring data accuracy and consistency throughout the process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uncover integration opportunities that enhance system efficiency and streamline data flow. Data Management and Reporting: Establish and maintain dependable data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) procedures to safeguard data integrity between disparate systems. Utilize data from the Epicor ERP system and integrated sources to develop insightful reports and interactive dashboards. Conduct thorough data analysis to unearth trends, patterns, and areas ripe for process enhancement. System Support and Maintenanc e: Provide essential technical support to end-users, offering guidance on KBMax configurations, OData integrations, and associated processes. Troubleshoot and resolve issues tied to the Epicor ERP system and any integrated applications. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure system security, stability, and optimal performance. Documentation and Training: Thoroughly document configuration modifications, integration setups, and troubleshooting procedures to create a reliable reference resource. Lead training sessions for end-users to elevate their proficiency in leveraging the Epicor KBMax configurator and OData integrations effectively. Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field. Demonstrated expertise in customizing and configuring the Epicor KBMax module to align with specific business requirements. Profound understanding of OData protocols and hands-on experience in integrating systems using OData APIs. Previous exposure to the Epicor ERP system and its related modules is highly advantageous. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly when tackling intricate challenges. Strong communication skills, enabling seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.
