Seamlessly Develop new code, Migrate / Upgrade existing code from .NET Framework (including ASP .NET web forms) to the latest version of .NET Core Skill Set. Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)10 years of development experience using C# .NET. Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC). Understanding of Agile methodologies. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Knowledge of REST and RPC APIs. Able to work well in a team setting. Experience: 12+ yrs. Required Skills: ASP.NET, .Net Core, .Net Framework .NET expertise, including experience developing/architecting and leading complex .NET projects/migrations Experience in Core .net development. Experience in code Migrations from .NET Framework to Core Ideally experience writing transition pieces in .NET Standard that will let Framework and Core code work together Strong written and verbal communication skills Nice to have skills: Bitbucket, C#, GITHUB, Jenkins, Jira, Splunk, SQL Server Roles & Responsibilities: Team size, direct reports, key deliverables, unique selling points, additional qualifications, team culture etc. Analyze the existing .NET Framework code to understand the overall architecture, code structure, connectivity to database, apps, APIs, etc Work closely with the client development team / architect to identify key dependencies, risks / issues, if any Understand and agree upon coding standards, testing process etc with client development team / architect.
