Full Name: Visa: Email: Phone: Location: Relocation: Rate(C2C/1099): Skype Id: Start Senior SQL Server DBA Location: Onsite in NYC, NY (first month onsite then possibility of remote) Duration: 6 Months visa: No OPT, CPT, H1B Need local NY candidates only Requirement: Must have recent Sr Level DBA experience with 30tb plus Databases*** ***Must have recent experience working for a global bank or major financial services firm*** ***Must be able to work onsite for the first month or so and then may possibly go remote*** ***Must have DBA experience in large Applications*** A minimum of one year of experience in writing and enhancing SQL Server T-SQL queries, making you the go-to person for T-SQL inquiries. Proficiency in designing tables and selecting appropriate data types. Utilization of tools like Profiler traces and DMV queries to identify frequently executed queries. Familiarity with free tools like sp_BlitzIndex and DMV queries to address questions related to index usage. Experience in providing on-call troubleshooting for SQL Server service outages. The ability to determine whether clustering, log shipping, mirroring, replication, or other methods are suitable to address specific business challenges. Applicants must have a minimum of 8+ years of experience working for US companies in the US and at least 4+ years of recent banking experience since 2016. Demonstrated experience in Level 3 support is essential. As this position pertains to the "Global" unit, candidates should have consistent and on average experience in working with database sizes of 30TB or more. Experience in managing large-scale enterprise application setups across Data centers is highly valued. You should also possess a minimum of 10+ years of experience performing general database administration tasks, such as database implementation, code deployments, backups, and creation of user accounts. The role requires a minimum of 7+ years of experience working as a SQL Server DBA and should include functional and application DBA experience. Additionally, candidates must have a minimum of 5 years administering database platform-specific advanced features, including clustering, encryption, logical/physical standby, ETL, replication, as well as optimizing server database servers and SQL code. Proficiency in MS SQL Server 2014 - 2019, along with skills in SSIS package creation and debugging, stored procedure development, and tuning, is crucial.
