H4EAD Job Description/Responsibilities: We are currently seeking a Performance Test Engineer with a wealth of experience in the QA field. This individual will play a crucial role in the testing processes, particularly in the domain of performance testing. Qualifications and Requirements: Experience: The ideal candidate will bring at least 10 years of QA experience to the table, with a significant focus on performance testing. JMeter Expertise: You should have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with JMeter, demonstrating your ability to utilize this tool effectively for performance testing. Performance Analysis: Your role will require you to not only conduct performance testing but also analyze the results meticulously. You should possess the capability to identify performance bottlenecks within the tested systems. Collaborative Skills: Collaboration is key in this role. You should be capable of working seamlessly with external teams and infrastructure groups to identify performance monitors and employ them effectively. Strategy Development: Crafting performance testing strategies will be a part of your responsibilities, so prior experience in this area is essential. Independence: While teamwork is crucial, you should also be able to work with minimal supervision and independently. Technical Skills Required: JMeter Mastery: You should have a solid foundation in performance testing Java applications using JMeter. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on JMeter experience is required. Scripting Abilities: You should be able to script web applications and APIs, showcasing your scripting skills. Application Architecture Understanding: A good grasp of application architecture is necessary, particularly for SAS, cloud, and on-premises applications. Integration Knowledge: Understanding integration components like Google Pub-Sub, Tibco, and Informatica from a performance testing perspective is beneficial. Programming Skills: Strong experience with Java programming language and scripting languages such as Groovy and JavaScript is a must. Version Control and Project Management Tools: Proficiency in tools like GitHub, SVN, and JIRA is essential. Additional Skills/Knowledge Preferred: AGILE and SCRUM Experience: Previous experience working in an AGILE and SCRUM environment is advantageous.
