Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification is preferred. Proven experience in Palo Alto firewall administration and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of networking concepts, including routing, switching, and VPN technologies. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices. Familiarity with security tools such as IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint security solutions. Proficiency in scripting and automation for security tasks (e.g., Python, Power). Effective problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently. Experience with cloud security and hybrid cloud environments is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Palo Alto Networks' next-generation firewall solutions. Implement and manage security policies, rules, and access controls to safeguard network resources. Monitor and analyze network traffic, logs, and security events to detect and respond to security threats. Collaborate with other IT teams to gather requirements and provide security solutions. Perform regular security assessments and vulnerability scans, and remediate identified issues. Manage and maintain Palo Alto Panorama for centralized firewall management and reporting. Provide expertise in VPN configurations, including site-to-site and remote access VPNs. Troubleshoot and resolve network and security-related incidents and issues. Stay current with cybersecurity threats and trends to proactively enhance security measures. Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards. Automate routine tasks and processes to improve security posture and operational efficiency. Document system configurations, procedures, and security policies. Provide on-call support and participate in incident response and disaster recovery planning.
