Job Title- Principal Solution Architect Location Remote - Traveling is MUST ( most of the time USA) Duration 1+ year Principal Solution Architect, SAP Finance Solution Architect for a S/4 project which has OTC as core part of its implementation. Job Description We are on an exciting journey to transforming our business process and technology footprint leveraging SAP S/4 HANA here for one of a media customer. The Principal Solution Architect, will play a significant role in the definition and implementation of an over-arching SAP application strategy, including solution architecture, solution design, and roadmaps. The successful candidate will perform work that is highly complex, varied in nature, and span multiple functional areas, though being focused in one or two. This individual will also seek to ensure the optimum utilization of existing system platforms and their integration while considering and / or facilitating the justified deployment of new technologies in response to business requirements. As a Principal Architect will be responsible for designing complex SAP solutions in the Media space and guiding configuration and functional design while leading a team of configuration team members and managed services providers. Primary responsibilities will include: Architecting the future state SAP footprint with SAP Right and Royalties Management, SAP IS-M, Media Product Master and SAP S/4 HANA. Designing and architecting SAP solutions related to Media related business process including Royalties, Participations, Residuals, Content and Production accounting, Ultimates and Amortization etc. Understand the content supply chain and architecting SAP solutions that integrate well within non-SAP solutions across the entire supply chain, for a variety of Business Units (Film, Studios, Streaming etc.). Leading our application rationalization strategy to inventory non-SAP solutions across the content supply chain and developing a roadmap to transition to our destination platforms, in partnership with peer Solution Architects, Business Solutions and Enterprise Engineering partners. Craft adaptable, comprehensive, and feasible solutions by creating necessary blueprint documents for functional requirements and technical specifications. Design functional solutions to solve business problems and needs ensure agreement on design with process owners. Review and/or participate in solution build and test activities on SAP implementations, rollouts, or upgrade projects; may be asked to step in to conduct project management activities from time to time. Lead end-to-end implementations plus engage as solution architect simultaneously with other SAP projects that are in progress. This requires cross technical/functional team project management. Effectively delegate responsibilities to team members, provide them with repeatable processes, and verify the quality of their work. Review work performed by other team members as per established standards. Review current standards and revise to ensure best practices. Review all SAP functional specifications with regards to media related solution to ensure quality solutions are proposed and not duplicating existing functionality. 12+ years of progressive SAP hands on experience leading up to Architect level work in a consultative and/or IT capacity with at least 5 SAP project implementations of high complexity, large scale, and global user base.
