Fiber to the home and/or GPON experience preferred. Good understanding of telecom network topology and customer connectivity. Should have telecom network design skills in AutoCAD and any other GIS application. Should have experience in Plan and design of telecom networks (Fiber) FTTP engineering design, documentation and cost analysis, and related engineering database recordkeeping Hand-on experience on telecom networks including OSP and ISP elements Knowledge of fiber management and splicing standards Knowledge of major internet routing protocols; specifically, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, RSVP and ISIS Knowledge of commercial tools deployed in the design, plan, build and operations of a wireline network, including OSS tools, inventory tools, design tools and project Management tools. OSHA, NWSA, ANSI, NATE knowledge and experience Soft Skills : Works well in a collaborative, team-based environment. Works well with different functional areas (Technology, Engineering, Operations, IT, GSM, etc). Thinks innovatively. Acts and makes decisions in the best interest of team.
