From: Yogesh Sharma, StellentIT yogesh@stellentit.com Reply to: yogesh@stellentit.com Java and .Net Developer Location: Cincinnati, OH Interview: Phone + Skype Job description: This person will support two main applications: Homegrown document viewer app (only one person supports it) Written in .NET (C#), Knockout.js, SQL Documents are stored in Azure Heavily customizable eCommerce Application Written in Java 8, SQL on Struts framework Two thirds of candidates time will be with Document Viewer (C# .NET framework), the rest with this eCommerce app Responsibilities: Support existing eCommerce application Works collaboratively on a team with other developers, business analysts, testers, technical / solution architect and scrum masters. Responsible for developing, testing, installing, modifying and/or maintaining applications Develops technical solutions to business problems and work collaboratively with the business to determine how best to implement new requests. Designs, develops, and unit tests product extensions, interfaces, applications and data conversion modules for reliability, scalability, manageability, performance and re-use. Creates design documents supporting the agile development process. Reports status of work to the agile team and quickly escalates when impediments are faced. Identifies opportunities to simplify application and break new requests into minimal working parts. Reports time and expenses accurately and on-time. Demonstrates flexibility and ability to work with a globally distributed team. Requirements: Prefer candidates to have 4+ years of professional experience with the following: Java, Struts, HTML, SQL, ASP.NET Candidates need to have 3+ years of professional experience with: Linux, Web Applications, Web Services, Azure Number of years of experience working with specific technologies/skillset is a minimum of 3-5 Years Plus Skills: Soft skills: Communicates Effectively, Time Management, Problem Solving, Collaboration Keywords: csharp javascript information technology Ohio |
