Hi All, Role: IT Application Developer II (Pentaho) Location: New York Work Arrangement: Hybrid Note: Local profiles only! - 8+ years of experience required. - Previous experience in the financial services industry required. - Masters Degree required. Top Skills Required: Spark, Pentaho, Hadoop, Allocations knowledge is a must. Skills Required: In-depth knowledge of Pentaho ETL tool Strong development experience in writing PL/SQL Stored Procedures, Functions, packages and debugging the code Strong development experience working with Bigdata DBs preferable HP Vertica Strong development experience working with Oracle Working knowledge of source control tools such as GitLab Experience in creating documents like requirement document, functional/technical specs, use case, test plans, data flow diagrams etc. for allotted projects. Experience in working with multiple stakeholders, onshore/offshore model Effectively communicate and understand project requirements Ability to self-manage development projects with good turn-around time Responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more user areas. May include hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance or enhancement of existing applications. Works closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations.
