Prior experience with Court Case Management applications is highly desirable Job Description: As a Financial Business/System Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work on a groundbreaking project. Our client is in the process of implementing a comprehensive case management system to replace several existing systems, and they have chosen Odyssey Case Manager, from Tyler Technologies, as their solution. This project includes a full financial management component designed to capture financial data related to court records. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the lead financial business analyst and subject matter expert for the MDEC application suite's financial business processes. Collaborate closely with client financial analysts and Judiciary leadership to effectively manage resources and fulfill assignments. Provide valuable analysis and requirements to enhance the case management application, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our client. Deliver top-notch end-user support while adhering to established service level agreements. Evaluate the current District and Circuit Court financial systems, recommend improvements, and actively participate in developing standardized statewide Financial Configurations, aligned with Maryland statutes. Offer expert analysis and recommendations for standardized business process configurations and provide crucial testing support for these configurations. Play a pivotal role in the ongoing support of data review for MDEC financial data conversions, including data mapping, logic creation, data analysis, solution validation, and comprehensive documentation. Provide critical analysis and design input to meet audit requirements for MDEC. Support system testing of MDEC development and actively contribute during User Acceptance Testing. Collaborate with the programming team to analyze financial integration processes. Analyze existing and proposed data exchanges for seamless interoperability with local and statewide financial systems. Develop precise business rules specifications to guide the development of the MDEC Financial Systems. Conduct in-depth analysis of large financial data sets, formulate well-founded conclusions, and create efficient queries and data extracts. Leverage data analysis software tools to streamline analysis and derive actionable insights. Present data set analysis graphically and verbally to convey findings effectively. Collaborate and coordinate with team members to provide support for various non-financial aspects of MDEC as needed. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation that outlines established statewide business processes and configuration decisions. Address requests from auditors regarding MDEC financial business processes and financial configuration. Provide end-user orientation and training on new or revised business processes, both in-person and virtually. Skills, Experience & Capabilities: Exceptional teamwork skills Strong ability to communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences In-depth knowledge of business processes Previous experience in court business processes is a significant advantage Proficiency in preparing and delivering presentations Excellent organizational skills Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks simultaneously Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field. A minimum of ten (10) years of experience working with, analyzing, and formulating conclusions based on large financial data sets, along with expertise in performing database queries.
