Role : Network Engineer Location : ONSITE in Germantown MD Interview: Face 2 Face Contract : 12+ Months Job Description: RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide technical support to manage large service provider network. Install, configure, maintain network services, equipment and devices. Plan and support network infrastructure. Document network problems and resolution for future reference. Run network applications testing and may also include running performance tests. Qualifications: Requires a BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering 5 years of relevant experience ( Does not need a Senior resource for this role) Hands on experience with networking and security devices is required. Willing to be part of the on-call rotation and able to work off hours when required. PREFERRED: Professional level experience with Cisco/Juniper switches and routers, Fortinet Firewall and F5 load balancers Experience with scripting and automation of network tasks using Ansible, Python. Experience with Cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure Certifications like CCNP or JNCIP preferrable. Knowledge of Cisco ACI/APIC is a plus. Knowledge of VMware products is a plus.
