We are currently looking for PowerBI Engineer. Role: PowerBI Engineer Location: Miami, FL (onsite) Duration: Long Term Must have exp in Power BI, Cognos, and Experience with FIS Horizon ( Banking applications) Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors and 8+ years experience, Must have 6+ years of experience using Power BI tools with the Microsoft Power Platform (PowerBI, PowerApps, Power Automate) Experience with Cognos is a must-have. Experience with FIS Horizon ( banking Application Suite) would be a great to have. Advanced SQL skills (querying data, creating views/stored procs) Proficiency with Business Intelligence Architecture and Datawarehouse and data modeling Understands data modeling practices for quality data analysis and efficient performance. Expert in Power BI concepts and can decide on various functionalities and features of PBI for Implementation (Workspaces, Apps, Dataflows, Visualizations, Design, PBI Premium) Proficiency with AWS Data warehouse Design and review Power BI Report Server upgraded / Experience with Power BI in Azure environment. Infrastructure and plan to implement features and provide necessary support for various databases. Strong ability to analyze user requirements and ability to provide build sketch for front-end BI applications according to specifications. Strong and effective inter-personal and communication skills and ability to influence senior, external stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Experience using and implementing version control for Power BI reports. Familiarity with Power BI plug-ins and extensions that enhance the capabilities and experience for Power BI users and developers. Strong skills in DAX query writing Power Query (M language is good to have) Power Builder API for DAX Responsibilities Experienced Power BI developer primarily responsible for designing, creating, and maintaining dashboards and reports from Redshift data warehouse. Performs duties of a Power BI Admin using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Reports generation Assists with report design and user experience research (UI/UX) Performs customization of visuals in PBI to support business requirements. Power Query and DAX query writing Performs unit testing and performance testing. Troubleshooting and maintenance of dashboards and reports Contribute and maintain technical knowledge base, standards, and user training documents. Participates in the definition and design of data security solutions. Collaborates with stakeholders and business teams to gather requirements and use cases.
