Technical Project Manager (E-Commerce)

Location : McKinney, TX (Onsite Day 1)

Job Type : Long Term Contract

Job Description:

The PM must have strong experience delivering digital projects, specifically for eCommerce.

Responsibilities

Develop

a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress and manage changes

to scope, schedule and cost.

Align project scope and

objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical

feasibility and coordinate budget estimates.

Coordinate internal resources

and third parties/vendors for the smooth execution of projects.

Support the Solution Consultant

in managing customer expectations for project deliverables.

Manage the relationship with

the client and project stakeholders.

Ensure project-related

administration is completed on time and accurately e.g. timesheets,

sign-off, resource planning/booking, expense submissions/approvals,

project reports, and training

Work closely with all

functional teams to build strong internal relationships.

Proactively seek opportunities

for client account growth to achieve company targets.

Support the Senior Leadership

team in the design and implementation of the project Management Framework

and best practice processes for the entire Delivery Practice

Act as a partner and trusted

advisor for the client

Ensure the delivery processes

are adhered to for the definition and implementation of scoped works.

Create and maintain supporting

project artefacts to effectively manage engagements e.g. RAIDD (and

associated management), resource scheduling, status reporting, budget

reporting

Track utilization of project

resources and manage this against the resource allocation and budget.

Able to manage one or two large

projects or a couple of small to medium sized interrelated projects

requiring complex cross-functional collaboration and management at the

Project level.

Communicates Project status and

progress (inc budget) to customers effectively and escalating where

necessary to key stakeholders.

During the course of an

engagement, be the primary customer interface and perform project

management activities that ensures adherence to the delivery methodology.

Coordinates creation and runs

Monthly Service Review

Coordinates creation and runs

Quarterly Business Review

Deliver all ITIL Elements of

Proactively lead and

co-ordinate all planning for client's peak trading period

Requirements

Qualifications

and Skills required:

7+ yrs

proven working experience in project management ideally in an agency

environment with E-commerce projects from inception to launch.

Excellent client-facing and

internal communication skills

Excellent written and verbal

communication skills

Good organizational skills

including attention to detail and multitasking skills.

Excellent line management,

matrix management and mentoring skills

Experience using MS Project,

Jira and Confluence

Good working knowledge of

Microsoft Office

A recognized project management

certification such as Certified Scrum Professional, Agile PM, Project

Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.

Bachelor's Degree in an

appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience

Experience in strong verbal and

written communication skills and experience in senior stakeholder

engagement

Sound understanding of the

ecommerce landscape including critical technology integrating into

ecommerce platforms.

Proven experience of successful

project management, utilising relevant tools and techniques to ensure

consistent delivery.

Ability to resource plan,

financial planning, control and reporting efficiently and effectively.

Experience of communicating and

liaising with senior key stakeholders and project sponsors

Process control, quality

reviews and delivery of governance and documentation

Experience in managing the

delivery of complex projects of multi-disciplinary teams.

Experience working with

offshore teams.

Ability to coordinate multiple

medium sized projects at the Project level or one or two large projects.

Demonstrated negotiation,

conflict management and leadership skills.

Proven

ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external business

relationships with various levels of customer management teams.

Ability

to manage forecast / pipeline and reflect a true position with date driven

deadlines.
