(UX is an additional plus) Looking for Design System building skills in Figma. Experience building at the atomiclevel Experience with code semantics and being able to understand the code and QA it/know if it is wrong This is a design centric role where the person will be designing system enhancements at the atomic level for other designers. (Designing for the designers to make their job/make the systems easier for them to use). This designer will manage the library of design elements and document the components. Accessibility Guidelines Healthcare and/or e-commerce industry. Skills Minimum of 5 years experience . Understanding of common design systems and best practices. Experience working with Developers and documenting for hand off to developers. Working knowledge of XD, Figma Experience with building components for Design Systems Code experience AA Accessibility Guidelines Strong understanding of design patterns and usability standards UX writing Education Bachelor or higher degree in digital design, graphic design, HCI, UX, computer information, or other relevant technological or design disciplines preferred Experience: Know your stuff and know you have room to grow. Strong UI skills and familiarity with common design systems. Have a portfolio of your work that demonstrates your capabilities and direct responsibilities as well as your understanding of UX best practices and standards Are deeply passionate about the user and their experiences and consider your wheelhouse to be interaction design. Understanding on how to problem solve and design with robust databases in mind. Have created, defended (professionally) and delivered many or all of the following and more: Very detailed low and high-fidelity wireframes, sitemaps, taxonomies, user flows, journey maps, and annotated screen interaction specifications Visual designs and mock-ups Understand the nuances between mobile platforms and responsive and adaptive design Able to embrace change and thrive in an ever-evolving team environment.
