All candidates who are fully authorized to work in USA except H1B are eligible for consideration Description: Position Summary : Work with DevOps and Server Support groups to provide senior level Web & Database Administration in a highly virtualized enterprise with 700+ virtual servers in production. Support will include MS SQL Server Administration, server administration, Azure and Nutanix system monitoring and system security support, including SSO and IAM. This is an ON-SITE position located in a Montgomery County Government building in Rockville, MD, for one year with likelihood for extension. Required: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems or other related field. Expert experience in: Administration including, installation, configuration of Enterprise managed MS SQL Servers both on prem and Azure. Administration of web server administration including deployments, backup and configuration and on some occasion configuration of SSO components including Identity and Access Management. Monthly management of Enterprise servers including updates of both windows and Linux servers. This includes vulnerability management, triage and fixes as required. Nutanix Hyper Convergence configuration, maintenance, end to end administration for Enterprise, and troubleshooting any issues. Rubrik Immutable backup system, and management of backups with DR and Archive replication, and Quest Rapid Recovery management. Support with large portions of Open-Source components, such as Linux/CentOS, SSO-CAS, Enterprise Service Bus (Pentaho/Kettle), Zabbix Enterprise monitoring, Python / Ansible Scripting.
