Keys: Firewalls, CCNP/CCNA, Palo Alto, Load balancers, wireless KEY SKILLS REQUIRED CCNA or CCNP certification Load Balancers (F5 preferred) Firewall Cisco firepower etc NetScaler Palo Alto Wireless Strong Communication Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager the Network Engineer is responsible for setting technology strategy, driving adoption and implementation of emerging technologies and operationalizing best practices within networking domains specific to Route/Switch, Telcom/Collaboration & Firewall. Deliver technology strategy and direction across various network domains. Develop and publish network strategies, advocate for strategy alignment, and drive actions to end users that deliver infrastructure value Perform as network SME on Architecture Review Board, hybrid multi-cloud networking, initial new technology deployments, and developing business cases. Define, champion, and conduct pilots and proof of concepts and innovations with service owners for new and emerging network related technologies Be the liaison to key strategic partners/vendors to ensure technology roadmaps are maintained and updated As the Network Engineer, the individual is responsible for maintaining awareness of technologies pertinent to the teams goals and objectives. The Engineer will work collaboratively with all constituents from the teams community and serve a tech leadership function for the effective use of technologies to maintain best in class operations and delivery of solutions. The Engineer drives the technology solution set and architectural design of the Infrastructure Strategic Plan, as well as assists with tactical decisions. Infrastructure network engineer will align deliverables to meet the enterprise objectives through leveraging the technical environment, architecture, and relationship. Scope of technology oversight for the Network Engineer includes Data Center networking, Cloud Networking, and Remote Site Networks, Wireless and other Mobility Solutions, Network Security, Telephony PBX/UCaaS.
