Responsibilities: Responsible for supporting the migration of applications to the cloud (AWS, Azure, OCI) by developing and transitioning the network segmentation firewall security rules to the cloud environment. Support the network segmentation strategy across the global organization. Develop, document and update SOPs and design documentation. Final technical escalation point of contact for security technologies Will need to work some nights and weekends for off-hours change execution (1-2X per month estimate) Requirements or Required Skills/Abilities: Strong expertise required in the following areas: Must have a strong background with AWS and Azure network and security cloud experience Expertise in firewall policies and rule development (Palo Alto and Illumio preferred) Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) experience Splunk ideally. Strong background with documenting processes. Packet decoding and analysis Python scripting a plus Demonstrated ability to work under intense pressure when resolving complex issues with strict deadlines. Strong written, communication and presentation skills Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with the team members and superiors. 10 years of experience in the network security field Education and/or Certifications: Ideally, a candidate should also have a bachelor's degree or further certification in a computer science-related field.
