Create Projects Preliminary Scope and coordinate with the project management team Produce Technical Documentation (Network and Connectivity Diagrams, Infrastructure Diagrams, Technical Specifications) Support UAT and provide technical Signoff Training and hand-over to Run & Support team Commission / de-commission Network components Network Incident Management, Onsite Support, Inventory Management, Site Surveys This position best suits candidates with umbrella experience within IT, with strong networking knowledge. Basic operating system, programming language, and protocol knowledge, particularly legacy ones. A combination of technical and people skills. Self-directed and proactive. Aptitude for becoming an account manager for their customer environments. Defensive cybersecurity skills (incident response, tool deployment, firewall rule analysis, etc.) as well as offensive interrogation/discovery. Informal project coordination or formal project management experience. OT (Operational Technology)/Lab/Building Automation experience is preferred. Experience in ICS (industrial control system)/factory/plant settings. Service NOW and/or JIRA experience is a plus. Knowledge of ITSM principles. Data analysis and transformation. Awk/sed/grep, RegEx, or similar are a plus. The infrastructure skills are largely not hands-on. Typically, we are documenting and communicating with other teams what needs to be done.
